AdSense Rejected for ‘Low-Value Content’ — My Plan to Fix It

AdSense Rejection: Overcoming ‘Low-Value Content’

The results for my Google AdSense application are in. Unfortunately, the verdict was “Needs attention,” and my first attempt ended in rejection.

Reason for Rejection: Low-Value Content

1. Failure Analysis: The Limits of Automated Content

My experiment with automated posts backfired. Google likely flagged the content for lacking originality and user value, confirming that machine-generated articles have clear limitations.

2. New Strategy: Quality Over Quantity

I’m not discouraged. I have previous experience getting a site (arranging.tistory.com) approved, so I’m pivoting my strategy for the next attempt:

  • Content Cleanup: I’m removing or hiding all low-quality test posts to improve the blog’s overall quality score.
  • Manual Creation: I’m switching to a hands-on approach, where I will personally write and review every article.
  • Focus on Value: My priority is creating unique, helpful content that answers real user questions.

3. The Path Forward

To start, I’ve already moved the unhelpful articles to the trash. It turns out that about 90% of my content was auto-generated. With those gone, I’m now focused on managing the blog manually. I hope this log of my failure becomes the prelude to a success story. Stay tuned!
